The Hammond Group (HG) works on behalf of both investors and those seeking investments. We focus on the technology, bio-tech, and alternative energy sectors. With partners in NY and on the West Coast, we have collectively enabled investments of over $1B through private equity, hedge funds, and private investors.
For investors, we are already scouring the tech sector for the private equity deals and have a growing list of clients looking for equity and debt type investments, as well as those looking to be sold … and to be bought. We offer a full range of support services including targeted company searches, due diligence, and summary overviews prior to introduction. By using Hammond Group investment screening services, you can focus on the highest value part of the process. We therefore serve a valuable role to clients who are aggravated by the time wasted reviewing deals not suited to their needs. We also function as a communication buffer between our clients and sellers until a client decides to take the lead in pursuing the deal. Our clients’ identities are held in strict confidence, and only revealed to companies and other intermediaries with their consent.
For the audited larger private and mid-cap public companies seeking investments, we offer selected services to fund organic growth and/or M&A activities in the form of either debt or equity, using the private equity and hedge fund sources. We have done deals as little as $2mm in equity to as large as $115mm IPO, for market caps ranging from $25 mm to as large as $1B. A list of example companies in various sectors can be provided upon request. We have the ability to move very quickly, especially with public companies, as the funds are eager to move money into the tech, bio-tech, and alternative energy sectors.
For the seed stage and smaller private companies, we offer a range of services from private reviews in preparation of seeking investments to introductions into our network of investors. We offer frank assessments of your investment readiness and can assist with reviews of the segment and competitive worthiness of your proposals. We also offer strategic and operations consulting and management services.
